You won’t be able to miss the latest update to the TRON coaster construction project in the Magic Kingdom.
A large tower crane is rising at the site of the new TRON coaster that will sit just past Space Mountain in Tomorrowland. The crane will be used to install the track for the coaster before the building eventually goes up around it, concealing the track from view.
The new tower crane can be seen in several spots inside and around the Magic Kingdom. Blog Mickey provided this shot from what appears to be Disney’s Contemporary Resort. You can’t miss it. The crane’s arrival should indicate that the track will start being placed in the very near future.
Previously, we saw that some of the footings for the track are already in place.
The TRON coaster is expected to open by 2021 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World.
