Lightning Lane Single Passes are getting more expensive in Walt Disney World. The price ceiling for several Single Passes are increasing between $1 and $3 starting November 1.
Here’s the new high price for each Lightning Lane Single Pass:
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – $18 (was $15)
- TRON Lightcycle Run $25 (was $23)
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – $25 (was $22)
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – $25 (no increase)
- Flight of Passage – $20 (was $19)
Summarized, four of the five attractions that offer Lightning Lane Single Passes can have a higher price during busy periods. Rise of the Resistance didn’t see an increase and is remaining at $25. Thankfully, it appears Disney isn’t ready to break the $25 mark quite yet.
Guests visiting during the upcoming holidays should expect to see these new prices. But, just like before, Disney won’t always have Lightning Lane Single Passes at these new prices. These are the new max prices when Disney is anticipating big crowds.
The big question – which Single Passes are worth it at these new prices? Like a lot of Disney questions, the answer is subjective.

The value of buying a Single Pass depends a lot on the wait times, how important going on the attraction is to you, and how you value your vacation spending. We recommend creating a priority list before your trip with the must-do rides for everyone in your group. Doing that, and understanding you won’t be able to do everything, can help dictate which passes you buy – if any.
Personally, we’ll splurge on the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Single Passes sometimes because it’s our favorite ride. Going on that coaster as many times as possible is always the goal. Over at Magic Kingdom, it can be tough to stomach spending $25 per person for TRON when the ride only lasts 60 seconds. And we love TRON.
Prices go up every fall at Walt Disney World. We expect we’ll be talking about a new price ceiling around this time next year.
