The Tomorrowland entrance sign has been removed at the Magic Kingdom, will be updated

Updated:

The thematic overhaul of Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom keeps rolling on. The main sign welcoming guests into Tomorrowland from the main hub of the Magic Kingdom has been removed and will later be replaced with an updated version.

We can see that the entrance sign was removed on July 9, 2019 thanks to @stuart over on the WDWMagic forums. It’s believed that the sign will be reinstalled with its new look later this summer.

The change to the main entrance sign of Tomorrowland comes as new color schemes, paint and even a new sign for Monsters Inc, Laugh Floor has been added to the land. So far, a clear cohesive theme hasn’t been easily noticed or identified beyond lots of pastel colors, but that may change once the additional changes – such as the entrance sign – start showing up.

Tomorrowland’s new look and identity comes as the Magic Kingdom prepares for the debut of the new TRON coaster in 2021.
