A new detail about Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish, has officially been revealed! Disney has announced that the ship’s atrium will feature a beautiful golden statue of Cinderella.
The concept art debuted during Disney’s Christmas Day special.
You can watch the full segment that was introduced by the Fairy Godmother below:
The Cinderella statue is the main story here, but we can’t help but take a closer look at the Grand Hall (Disney’s title for the atrium). Is that a silhouette of Moana on the first level’s far wall? And what are those pastel colors on the second and third levels? So many questions!
The Disney Wish appears to be a ship themed around Disney’s princesses. In addition to the Cindrella statue, we’ve already learned Rapunzel will grace the stern of the ship.
For those keeping track at home, the other Disney Cruise Line ships have the following atrium statues:
Disney Magic – Helmsman Mickey Mouse
Disney Wonder – Ariel
Disney Dream – Captain Donald Duck
Disney Fantasy – Mademoiselle Minnie Mouse
The Disney Wish is expected to have its maiden voyage in Summer 2022.
