Disney Cruise Line has extended their increased onboard booking offer through June 2027. The promotion allows guests to save up to 25% when making a placeholder reservation good for a future cruise while sailing on a Disney Cruise Line voyage. Concierge staterooms are eligible for a 10% discount on select sailings.
You can view the full list of eligible cruises here. We scanned through the list and while not all sailings through June 2027 are included, there’s a huge number of sailings that are. You can find lots of discounts even on sailings during what are normally peak times of the year.
This promotion is a significant boost over the traditional onboard booking offer. Disney usually only offers 10% off an eligible future cruise, and normally excludes concierge staterooms from this discount. It was noteworthy when this placeholder offer first rolled out in late 2025. Now that it has been extended, we’re left asking – What’s going on?

It’s easy to point at Disney Cruise Line’s rapid expansion as the reason they’re now trying to convince cruisers to return. Disney’s fleet of ships has grown extensively over the years. They’ve gone from four ships as of 2022 to eight as of 2026. That’s a big boost to capacity. With yet another ship set to come online in 2027, the Disney Believe, is it possible Disney overestimated demand?
We think there’s a lot of factors at play here. Increased capacity is certainly one. Disney’s premium pricing could be another. Disney Cruise Line is priced as a premium offering, but those prices may have grown too rapidly. Disney may be trying to ease that some with a better placeholder offer. It may be similar to what we’ve seen at Walt Disney World with their expansive summer discounts.
Of course, economic factors and health concerns over cruising may be playing a role too. Regardless of the cause, Disney Cruise Line’s pricing will be fascinating to follow over the next year or two.
