Name and Theme Revealed for Disney’s Next Cruise Ship

Updated:

Disney has finally revealed what the name and theme will be for the newest Disney Cruise Line ship! New CEO Josh D’Amaro announced that Disney’s next cruise ship will be called the Disney Believe. The Believe’s theme will be focused around promise and possibilities.

Check out the full announcement below.

The Disney Believe is set to open in 2027 and will be the 9th ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. It will be the fourth in the Wish-class style of ships, similar to the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny.

The Disney Believe should be very similar to those other Wish-class ships, albeit with slightly different theming. We’d expect some overlap (some of the same restaurants, minimal-to-no layout changes) just like we’ve seen as each new Wish-style ship has opened. Disney is currently planning to open a fifth and potentially final Wish-class ship in 2029.

What do you think of the name of the Disney Believe? Are you excited for another ship using the Wish-class layout, or are you ready for something new?
