Disney World Releases Wave of Summer 2026 Discounts

Updated:

Planning a trip to Walt Disney World this summer? You might be able to save some money thanks to a series of new discounts. The new discounts for summer 2026 offer room discounts, ticket discounts, and packages that include free nights and tickets. We’ll break down all of the new deals before offering our thoughts.

Save Up to 30% on Rooms This Summer

Available for most nights May 1 to October 4, 2026. Save up to 25% for stays of one to four consecutive nights and save up to 30% for stays of five or more nights. Generally, the larger discounts are for deluxe and select modern resorts, and the smaller discounts are for value resorts.

2 Free Nights & 2 Free Park Tickets

This offer must be booked between January 6 and February 15, 2026, and is only valid for travel dates between May 26 and September 15, 2026. Book a 6-night, 6-day package and receive 2 hotel nights and 2 theme park days for free.

It’s easy to look at this deal as a 33% discount, but that’s not completely accurate. This would save you 33% on your resort stay, but Disney theme park tickets become cheaper the more days you purchase. Still, it’s a strong discount worth taking advantage of if it fits your plans.

Up to 35% Florida Resident Discount

Disney has resort discounts for Florida residents who aren’t annual passholders. Good for dates between May 1 and July 29, 2026. Stays between one and three nights can save 20% for Value resorts, 25% for Moderate resorts, and 30% for Deluxe resorts. Discounts are larger for stays over four nights – 25% Value, 30% Moderate, 35% Deluxe.

Up to 40% Annual Passholder Discount

Annual passholders have some of the best discounts this summer with up to 40% off for most nights May 1 to July 29, 2026. Save up to 40% for stays of 4 or more consecutive nights and up to 35% for stays of 1 to 3 consecutive nights.

Overall Thoughts

Remember when summer was considered the peak busy season at Disney World? Things have changed. This wave of discounts indicates Disney is expecting lighter than usual crowds at the resorts and theme parks. These Disney World discounts – particularly the annual pass discounts – are some of the best we’ve seen for the summer months.

Which discount is the best for you? That may depend on where you want to stay and how many days you want to spend in the parks. We’d recommend pricing out different offers for your planned dates, and seeing which has the best bang for your buck. Some resorts and room types may not be available under one discount, but could be available under a different promotion.
