Do you think the Festival of the Arts is EPCOT’s best annual festival? If so, we have good news for you! Disney has announced dates for next year’s Festival of the Arts and the Flower and Garden festivals, and Festival of the Arts will run a bit longer than usual in 2027.
Festival of the Arts will run January 15 through March 1, 2027. That’s about a week longer than normal, giving more guests an opportunity to enjoy the fan-favorite festival. Festival of the Arts hosts food kiosks, art displays, and the Disney on Broadway Concert Series.
Festival of the Arts will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2027, which makes the extended runtime feel even more appropriate. For reference, the festival ran between January 16 and February 23 this year.
We think Festival of the Arts is a bit overlooked compared to EPCOT’s other festivals. It doesn’t run during the popular spring break months like Flower and Garden, and it doesn’t have nearly the runtime as the lengthy Food and Wine festival. It also doesn’t have the special Christmas appeal like Festival of the Holidays.
Originally, Festival of the Arts felt like a bit of a bridge during EPCOT’s quieter months (Diet EPCOT as its affectionately called when there are no festivals). Over time, the festival has grown to be much more than just filler. Meeting artists, seeing the chalk art, and listening to outstanding Broadway music are just a few reasons why the festival has grown a dedicated fanbase.
