More Character Dining is Returning to Walt Disney World

Want more chances to dine with characters at Walt Disney World? You’re in luck! Disney is bringing back three character dining experiences starting this Fall. Character dining will return to The Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom, Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, and Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort.

Below is the schedule for these three returning experiences.

September 20, 2022: The Crystal Palace: A Buffet with Characters featuring Winnie the Pooh and Friends

September 27, 2022: ‘Ohana Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch

October 4, 2022: Cape May Café Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast

It’s great to see even more experiences reopening at Walt Disney World. The parks and resorts aren’t back to 100% quite yet, but we’re getting close. Disney is reportedly trying to be fully “back” by October 2022.

Disney will benefit from increased staffing levels when the Disney Cultural Representative program resumes in August. Disney outlined their plans to bring back international cast members back in March.

From Disney’s Cultural Representative announcement:

“With this phased re-introduction, initial recruitment will start in Germany, Norway, Italy, France, UK, and Canada for World Showcase at EPCOT.”

The returning international cast members will free up current cast members to work at other locations.

We look forward to the day Walt Disney World is operating with all of its regular experiences and entertainment.
