Disney Cruise Line Changes Vaccination Requirements Beginning September 2, 2022

Date:

Disney Cruise Line has changed its vaccination policy for guests. Beginning September 2, 2022, guests ages 12 and older will be required to submit proof they’re fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to sailing. Previously, Disney Cruise Line was requiring all guests ages 5 and up to submit proof of vaccination.

Disney Cruise Line did not announce any changes to their testing requirements. All guests regardless of vaccination status are required to submit a negative test prior to sailing. The specifics on testing vary based on vaccination status.

This change comes as several cruise line companies have adjusted or removed their COVID-19 policies. Many companies have already dropped their pre-boarding testing requirement, which Disney Cruise Line is maintaining at this time.

Guests sailing with Disney Cruise Line in the next few months should keep a close eye on Disney’s COVID-19 policies. These requirements are subject to change with no advanced notice.
