Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort is the next resort scheduled for a room refurbishment at Walt Disney World. The room updates are currently scheduled to take place beginning in late May 2026 and running through January 2027.
All-Star Movies’ rooms, and most of the Value resorts, were overhauled a handful of years ago. That’s when Disney installed laminate flooring, added a Murphy-style second bed to most rooms, and used polarizing modern color scheme. Overall, those updates have been well received even though criticisms have steadily grown over the sterile, bland feel of the rooms.
Disney has been adding a bit of color back into its rooms in some of their more recent refurbs. The room updates at Disney’s Pop Century in 2025 added some needed splashes of color. We’re guessing this upcoming update at All-Star Movies will be more in that ballpark rather than a complete remodel.
As always, Disney is warning that guests may see or hear construction during their stay.
