Construction cranes in place to build The Cove hotel near the Swan and Dolphin

Updated:

It’s been several months since we last checked in on The Cove hotel that’s being built near the Swan & Dolphin hotels in the Epcot Resort Area. The new 14-story hotel hit a significant construction milestone recently as tower cranes have started rising up at the site.

This is the most significant development we have seen on the project since land started being cleared back in March 2019.

Once completed, The Cove will offer more than 300 rooms and over 20,000 feet of meeting space. The best feature of this new hotel may be the rooftop terrace that offers guests a chance to see the nighttime shows at both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The concept art that has been released so far illustrates just how different this portion of the Epcot Resort Area will look once The Cove is open to guests.

An official opening date for The Cove hasn’t been announced at this time.
