More room refurbishments have been announced at Walt Disney World hotels in 2025. Both Disney’s Pop Century and Disney’s Port Orleans – Riverside will have lengthy refurbishment projects that begin in 2025 and extend into 2026.
Disney hasn’t released any information on what the refurbishments will include or whether guests should expect to see significant changes.
Pop Century Refurbishment Schedule
From late March 2025 to mid-February 2026, Guest rooms at Disney’s Pop Century Resort will undergo refurbishment. While all resort amenities will remain available, Guests may notice construction during daytime hours.
Port Orleans – Riverside Refurbishment Schedule
From early April 2025 through the end of January 2026, Guest rooms in the Magnolia Bend at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside will undergo refurbishment. During this time, Guests may see or hear construction work in the area.
Other 2025 Refurbishments
In addition to the work planned for Port Orleans – Riverside and Pop Century, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort will also have room refurbishments in early 2025. Room updates over at Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter began in 2024, but they will stretch into Spring 2025. Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is also going through a room refurbishment that is scheduled to last until September 2025.
Guests may hear some construction noise at these hotels, but otherwise shouldn’t be impacted. As a fun bonus, guests will get to play a fun game – will I have an updated room or not?
