Rejoice, vacation planners! Disney has already announced the 2027 refurbishment schedule for the Disney Skyliner. The Disney Skyliner will close for its annual maintenance January 24, 2027 through January 30, 2027.
As always, Disney will provide bus transportation along the routes traditionally served by the Disney Skyliner. The Disney Skyliner connects EPCOT and Hollywood Studios with Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century, and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.
We appreciate Disney giving guests more notice about upcoming Disney Skyliner closures. The unique (and very convenient) transportation system is a speedy and efficient way to get around Disney World. It’s one of the biggest selling points of the resorts it serves, so we’re glad Disney is giving lots of notice this time around.
Looking ahead, the Disney Skyliner traditionally closes for a stretch of days every January. The transportation system did skip its annual closure in 2025, but will close in January 2026. January closures also took place in 2024, 2023, and 2022.
