Higher Lighting Lane Single Pass Prices Coming to Some Disney World Rides

Updated:

Update: Another wave of price increases are coming to Lightning Lane Single Pass rides. Starting October 21, just a few days after the initial price hike, new peak prices will be seen at some Disney World attractions.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: $14 (was $11, then $12 on October 18)
TRON Lightcycle / Run: $22 (was $20, then $21 on October 18)
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind: $19 (was $16, then $17 on October 18)
Avatar Flight of Passage: $18 (was $17)

Disney appears to be intent on adjusting the prices for Lightning Lane Single Passes more often than they have in the past. That could make planning a bit more tricky as it may be more difficult to predict pricing trends. We expect these prices to keep inching higher as we approach the holiday months.

Original Story:

Guests are going to pay more for Lighting Lane Single Passes at some rides at Walt Disney World. Beginning October 18th, the skip-the-line pass peak cost will be more at Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, TRON Lightcycle Run, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

Below are the new top prices that will begin next month.

  • Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: $13 (was $12)
  • TRON Lightcycle Run: $21 (was $20)
  • Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind: $18 (was $17)

Currently, the top prices will remain the same at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance ($25) and Avatar Flight of Passage ($17).

As a reminder, Lighting Lane Single Pass and Multipass prices vary by day at Disney World. Prices will surge during crowded times at the parks, such as around the busy holiday months. We wouldn’t be surprised to see Lightning Lane Multipass, formerly known as Genie+, hit a new price high this holiday season.
