Video: Extensive testing of the Disney Skyliner near Hollywood Studios

The Disney Skyliner continues to be put through its paces near Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Extensive testing on the line has taken place throughout the month of March, with dozens of cabins traveling along the line.

A new video provides a great look at all of the wrapped cabins and the general speed guests should expect.

To date, we haven’t seen this same level of testing on any of the other segments of the Disney Skyliner. However, cabins have started popping up near Pop Century resort and the Art of Animation resort.

There are a couple of key takeaways from this video. First, the overall speed appears to match the estimated speed and travel times that were calculated several months ago. Next, the number of cabins traveling the line might surprise guests who haven’t been closely following the project. Capacity shouldn’t be an issue as the Disney Skyliner should be able to accommodate a huge number of guests.

Look for more Disney Skyliner testing to occur around Walt Disney World in the near future.
