Guests at Walt Disney World have spotted several cabins for the Disney Skyliner popping up at the Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Caribbean Beach Resort stations. Now, Disney has released a new video offering a behind-the-scenes look at the testing for the Disney Skyliner.
As shown in the video, quite a few cabins for the Disney Skyliner are already at Walt Disney World. However, many more are expected to arrive before the full project is complete. We can also see some of the unique theming that will be found at the Disney Skyliner stations.
The cabins themselves will feature a wide variety of Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto and Chip & Dale. They’ll also feature characters from Beauty and the Beast, Moana, Peter Pan, The Princess and the Frog, Frozen, Snow White, Zootopia, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Coco, Finding Dory, Pirates of the Caribbean, Ratatouille and many more.
The official opening for the Disney Skyliner is expected in Fall 2019, but that range could be pushed forward depending on how quickly the full order of cabins can be fulfilled, how well the testing process proceeds and how quickly Disney can add the finishing touches to its stations.
At the very least, guests should expect the Disney Skyliner to start transporting guests all over Walt Disney World well before the major additions open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
