Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Sells Out All Final Dates Before September Closure

The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will run completely full voyages ahead of its announced closure on September 30, 2023. All remaining dates booked up quickly after Disney reopened the reservation system to guests.

Disney notes that while all dates are currently booked, a limited number of rooms may become available. Guests wanting to secure a reservation are encouraged to check the online calendar regularly.

The surge in reservations ahead of the Galactic Starcruiser’s final days isn’t surprising. There’s new interest to experience what may prove to be Disney’s most ambitious storytelling attempt before it becomes apart of the history books. But, this wave of attendance probably won’t be enough to change Disney’s mind and extend the Galactic Starcruiser’s life.

Disney appears intent to pull the plug and use the property as a tax write-off. If that proves to be the case, Disney won’t try to repurpose the building or offer a modified Galactic Starcruiser experience. Of course, Disney’s plans are always subject to change.
