Some tarps removed over Future World in Epcot

Updated:

A noticeable element in Epcot’s Future World has recently been removed. Some of the large tarps that stretched over the areas near Starbucks and the Fountain of Nations have been removed.

Thanks to WDWNT, we can see that some of the tarps are missing while others are still in place. While it’s unclear why this particular section of tarps was removed, the belief is that the upcoming transformation of Future World won’t include the tarps in their design.

The rumored changes to Future World include some building demolition, the possible addition of a Beer Garden, water features and overhauled landscaping. Though Disney fans have been divided with their opinions about the rumored changes, they have almost all agreed that the removal of the tarps would be a welcome change.

Does this signal that the changes to Future World are about to begin?
