The construction of the new DVC Villas at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has moved the walkway linking the resort to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. The adjusted pathway takes guests on a temporary route that crosses two roads.

The new route takes guests by Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course, which is currently closed as Disney redesigns holes 14 through 17.

The walkway, which opened in 2020, connects the Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and the Transportation & Ticket Center (TTC). The temporary route will throw off our travel time estimates some, but we don’t think it will alter things too drastically.
