New strict mask signs pop up around Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World has rolled out new signs warning guests about the mask policy on property. The signs caution that guests who are not properly wearing approved masks will be asked to leave.

The signs could be spotted at Epcot.

They were also found inside the Magic Kingdom.

These signs will likely become a regular sight at all Disney theme parks and resorts.

As a reminder, Walt Disney World requires that guests wear approved face masks covering both their nose and mouth at all times when visiting the theme parks and resorts. Gaiter masks and mesh masks are not approved by Disney. Guests may only remove their mask while eating or drinking, which they’re only permitted to do while stationary and distanced from other guests.

These new signs aim to take some of the pressure off cast members who are tasked with enforcing the health and safety regulations at Disney. Now, guests will see the signs and cast members can reference the signs when dealing with guests who aren’t following the regulations.
