Disney is making an update to Alien Swirling Saucers at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! The attraction’s soundtrack will be updated with remixed Toy Story songs and new tracks from pop, country, EDM and alt-rock. In addition to the music change, a large version of the Lilypad character and a new marquee are coming to the ride.
The update will be ready for guests on September 25, 2026. Here’s a first look at Lilypad and the updated entrance to Alien Swirling Saucers.

This is a relatively easy change to make to Toy Story Land to incorporate the themes of Toy Story 5. Disney has updated the music on Alien Swirling Saucers in the past (adding festive music during the holidays). Switching up the music is a great way to keep things from feeling stale.
The inclusion of Lilypad in Toy Story Land is possibly more noteworthy. Lilypad’s screen will be used in a variety of ways to entertain guests outside the attraction.
Offboard, guests can sing along as DJ Lily hypes and introduces tracks from her playlist and provides a variety of entertainment between tunes. Try to guess which toy she’s doodling on her drawing app, help her unscramble puzzles, and even watch “home videos” she’s recorded of some of your favorite Toy Story pals.

This update seems like it’ll do a nice job bringing Toy Story Land up to date to the most recent movie. We’re glad Disney has been making these types of smaller changes to keep their lands feeling fresh.
