Disney has announced an official opening window for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Hollywood Studios. Amidst reported delays, Disney says that the attraction is expected to open in Spring 2020.
Previously, we reported that the opening of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway was delayed from its original planned opening in 2019. The hope was that the attraction would be ready for guests ahead of the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. That plan left the rails, so to speak, due to potential ride vehicle connectivity issues and the rumor that workers were shifted to complete Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge for its August 29, 2019 opening.
In addition to the Spring 2020 announcement, Disney also revealed plans to build Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway in Disneyland for an expected 2022 opening.
