EPCOT’s Walt Disney Statue Unveiled at D23 Expo 2022

Disney has unveiled the statue of Walt Disney that will reside in Dreamers Point at EPCOT. Jeff Vahle, President of Walt Disney World, shared a look at the statue from the D23 Expo 2022.

Vahle’s Instagram post offers a few views of the Walt Disney statue, which is officially being called “Walt the Dreamer.”

Dreamers Point, and the new statue of Walt Disney, will be placed in World Celebration not too far from Spaceship Earth.

Overall, we think the statue is a pretty solid representation of Walt. However, we think some context will help once the statue is permanently installed because it currently looks like Walt is taking care of business, if you catch our drift.

To date, Disney has not announced when construction on Dreamers Point and World Celebration will be completed at EPCOT.
