Walt Disney World will replace its usual Christmas party at Magic Kingdom with a new After Hours event. Disney Very Merriest After Hours will take the place of the familiar Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in 2021, matching Disney’s decision on how to handle Halloween this year.
Disney Very Merriest After Hours will take place on select nights between November 8, 2021 and December 21, 2021. The star of the four-hour event is the return of Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks that debuted back in 2019.
As with other After Hours events, guests will experience lower crowds and reduced waits for attractions. Holiday music, decorations and treats will also be present during Disney Very Merriest After Hours events.
Tickets go on sale beginning next month.
