A new notice of commencement has been filed regarding remodeling work that’s coming to the AMC Disney Springs 24 movie theatre. The notice states that a “theatre remodel and related improvements” are currently scheduled.
Details on the overall scope of the project aren’t known at this time. However, the same company that’s tabbed to complete this new update – the Whiting-Turner Contractor Company – completed the last update of the AMC Disney Springs theatre that converted it into a “fork and screen” location. That may suggest that this new project will be of similar size and scale.
Overall, AMC Disney Springs isn’t in too bad of shape. There are some areas of maintenance and upkeep that could be improved, but it’s hardly falling apart. That being said, it’s great to see the location receiving new upgrades as the rest of Disney Springs continues to grow and expand.
