Are the Pools Heated on Disney Cruise Line Ships?

Updated:

Disney Cruise Line ships are known for their beautiful design, fun entertainment, and themed activity areas. The pool areas on Disney Cruise Line ships are always full of activity, with each ship boasting at least three guest pools and a kids water play area.

Are the pools heated on Disney Cruise Line ships? Yes! The pool water is heated to about 75 degrees on each ship.

Disney wants guests to be comfortable when swimming wherever each ship sails. That includes those cold-weather itineraries like Alaska. Keeping the water at 75 degrees ensures guests always at least have the option to swim – if they’re daring. It also keeps things warm on those chillier Caribbean nights.

Admittedly, the pools on Disney Cruise Line ships aren’t heated as much as those at Walt Disney World. The pools at Walt Disney World are heated to 82 degrees, but obviously it’s difficult to compare the two. Disney Cruise Line’s pools are generally comfortable and refreshing, and are worth checking out.
