The Disney Fantasy will receive several updates during its upcoming drydock later this year. The ship will have a brand new suite in its funnel, a new quick service spot on the pool deck in Ramone’s Cantina, an updated concierge lounge, and more.
Below is the full list of updates coming to the Disney Fantasy:
- Poolside tacos and bowls at Ramone’s Cantina
- Updated spaces in Senses Spa
- A brand-new funnel suite, paying tribute to Sorcerer Mickey
- Ethereal concierge lounge inspired by Hercules
- Edge relocating to Deck 5 with new, fun features
Disney Cruise Line announced the changes to the Fantasy on Instagram.
All of these updates are similar to the ones the Disney Dream received in 2024. Those changes have been mostly received well, though some have lamented the loss of a dedicated space for Edge in favor of yet another massive price upcharge for the select few. Everyone seems to love the Cantina’s food on the pool deck, so that’s a big win. We’re personally not too fond of the design changes to the Dream’s concierge lounge, but we bet some do.
Overall, we’re glad the Disney Fantasy is getting some love. It’s our favorite Disney Cruise Line ship! We’re also glad Disney isn’t messing with any of the elements that make the Fantasy a preferred choice for us, such as the amazing spaces for adults.
