The seating area for Woody’s Lunch Box at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been walled off and is currently under construction. Temporary seating areas have been set up in the walkway between Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge while the old area is updated.
We can see Disney has already taken the site to dirt thanks to a picture from DC Baker. Disney has had plans to expand the seating for Woody’s Lunch Box for many months (construction walls have been up for ages nearby), but this is the first major step to update the area.
There’s no question that the old seating area for Woody’s Lunch Box was woefully undersized. And, like most of Toy Story Land, it was lacking consistent shade. The quick service restaurant is a favorite among guests, but the small number of tables and chairs forced many to stand or seek out seating outside of Toy Story Land.
