The newest version of Test Track will open to EPCOT guests on July 22, 2025! The updated Test Track, which is called Test Track 3.0 by Disney fans, will include a new musical score, new scenes, and more. Disney says riders will see how new technology is making cars smarter while enjoying the “pleasure of driving.”
One of the new scenes in Test Track will show how vehicles use advanced cameras and sensors to “see” the world around it. Disney is using over 29,000 points of light to demonstrate this technology in a new scene. Check out how the lights look in the screenshot below.
Disney also shared this video on Instagram showing a bit more inside Test Track. Trees are clearly a big design element. The Imagineers also said the ride is supposed to feel like going on a fun road trip with your friends or family.

Disney confirmed that previews for annual passholders, Disney Vacation Club members, and other special groups will be held before July 22. Considering the official opening date is about a month away, we expect previews will begin extremely soon.
