Park Hopping Returns to Normal at Walt Disney World

The rules for park hopping have finally been relaxed at Walt Disney World. As of January 9, 2024, guests with a park hopper ticket or eligible annual pass can once again visit another theme park at any time during the day. The rule preventing guests from visiting a second theme park until 2pm, which began in 2021, has been dropped.

Guests can now visit a theme park in the morning, catch a ride or two, and then jump to a second theme park in time for lunch. The days of seeing guests waiting at the entrance of a park waiting to scan in at the strike of 2pm are over.

This change brings needed flexibility and more options for guests navigating Walt Disney World. Removing the 2pm requirement will also make the classic challenge to visit all four parks in one day easier to accomplish.

Hopefully this change is just one of many designed to make visiting Walt Disney World less complicated, less confusing, and more enjoyable.
