Gideon’s Bakehouse made a big announcement for their 5th anniversary in Disney Springs. The team behind Gideon’s is opening a new restaurant called Six Ravens, a dining concept that will feature hand pies, desserts, draft beer, and more.
It sounds like the hand pies, named Coffyns, will be the star of the show at Six Ravens. The word ‘coffyn’ is an old term meaning a thick pastry crust for a pie, and it’s perfect for the gothic-style theming Gideon’s uses. Gideon’s says the fluffy yeast bread will be filled with flavors created not only by the Gideon’s kitchen, but also by other culinary stars in Orlando.
Six Ravens is going to be an extremely popular new offering in Disney Springs. Despite opening five years ago, Gideon’s Bakehouse still routinely has multi-hour waits for their delicious cookies. We think it’s still home to the best cookies in Disney World, though there is some very good competition.
Six Ravens will take over the former Art of Shaving storefront near Gideon’s. It’s expected to open to guests later in 2026.
