There’s actually a reason to stop by EPCOT’s CommuniCore Hall during the Festival of the Arts in 2025. The festival runs between January 17 and February 24, 2025 and will utilize the flex space to host an exhibit celebrating 30 years of Disney on Broadway, including costumes and props from The Lion King and Aladdin.
Disney says that guests will see “the magic of Broadway both on and off the stage in this walkthrough exhibit celebrating three decades of Disney on Broadway.”

We’ve been critical of EPCOT’s CommuniCore Hall ever since it opened in June 2024. The bare and usually vacant space was supposed to come to life during festivals, but so far we’ve only seen it used for merchandise and some basic photo ops.
This exhibit during Festival of the Arts hopefully represents a shift in how Disney utilizes CommuniCore Hall. Given the building’s large footprint, there’s no reason for its sorry state where it often looks like a school cafeteria.
