Door magnets and decals make Disney cruises more fun

Updated:

Guests on Disney Cruise Line love to surround themselves in the magic and fun that is Disney. That fun extends to the stateroom doors as guests take time to decorate their doors with magnets and decals.

Thanks to the doors being metal, it’s very easy to transform a plain white door into one with whimsical, themed designs. This not only makes doors fun to look at as you walk through the hallway, but it also makes it easier to find your stateroom. Personalized and customized magnets also create a nice keepsake that you can use to remember your cruise long after your trip is over.

Here’s what the doors look like before any decoration.

Kind of boring, right? Now imagine them with some of the colorful Disney designs.

We highlighted some design options below we found on Amazon (we’re an affiliate). Some of the choices include the classic Mickey designs as well as Pirate and Star Wars designs. There are a ton of options to pick from, including Pixar, classic Disney, Marvel and more.

Do a lot of people decorate their doors? Yes! We were very surprised by how many doors had some sort of decoration including magnets, decals, streamers, photos and other creative items. We kind of felt left out and we will be more prepared for our next cruise.
