Epcot’s Illuminations: Reflections of Earth fireworks show will end its storied run on September 30, 2019. Beginning October 1, 2019, the new Epcot Forever show will serve as the interim nighttime entertainment until Epcot’s new permanent show debuts later in 2020.
The Epcot Forever fireworks show will use lights, lasers, fireworks and some brand new elements such as special effects kites to celebrate the history and future of Epcot.
A preview video shows some great footage of the kites and even the new fireworks being tested.
While the Epcot Forever show will simply bridge the gap between the end of Illuminations: Reflections of Earth and the new permanent show that’s currently being prepared, it looks like it will feature some fun new elements that will dazzle Epcot guests.
