Video: A large Jack Skellington puppet will help bring Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular show to life

The Disney Parks Blog has revealed the first official look of the new Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular that will serve as the marquee fireworks show for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

With a large Jack Skellington puppet serving as host, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular will find Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy exploring a spooky haunted house. The show will feature special lighting, lasers, projections and fireworks.

While we have already seen the fireworks tested for this show, this is the first time we’ve seen the Jack Skellington puppet and the projections that will bring the story to life on Cinderella Castle. The puppet is one of those special touches that will go a long way in making this a unique event. Meanwhile, the projections are a huge upgrade over the dated technology used during the old HalloWishes fireworks show.

Take a look at the Jack Skellington puppet standing in front of Cinderella Castle.

Awesome and spooky.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will run on select nights at the Magic Kingdom beginning on August 16.
