Disney has announced that The Wave of American Flavors at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will be closed for refurbishment this summer. The popular restaurant will accept reservations through July 15, 2021 before closing for an unknown period of time.

The Wave… of American Flavors at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will be unavailable this summer as we refurbish this space in time for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort. Reservations will be available through July 15.
Assuming everything goes according to plan, The Wave should reopen ahead of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary on October 1, 2021.
Disney did not announce any specific changes coming to The Wave. However, guest rooms at Disney’s Contemporary Resort are currently being updated with theming from The Incredibles. Will The Wave receive the same treatment?
