The Rivers of America are filled with water again at the Magic Kingdom

Updated:

Water has been added back to the Rivers of America at the Magic Kingdom. Previously, the location had two temporary dams installed as refurbishment work took place on a section of the track for the Liberty Square Riverboat. Now, with the dams removed, the water is back in front of the Haunted Mansion and Liberty Square.

Below is a side-by-side look. The left photo is the current view and the right photo is what things looked like with a section of the river drained.

With the water back in place, one of the bridges over at Tom Sawyer Island is being reinstalled. The bridge was temporarily removed prior to the water being drained.

A reopening date for the Liberty Square Riverboat should be announced in the near future now that the work in the river has been completed.
