Previously, the old theming was removed from the building and the iconic mirrored tiles were taken down. The old Universe of Energy building will reportedly serve as the queue for the Guardians of the Galaxy coaster.
Meanwhile, construction on the new ride building is progressing for what will be one of the world’s longest indoor coasters. The new Guardians of the Galaxy coaster is expected to open in 2021.
