Disney is celebrating the 250th birthday of the United States with an update to Soarin’ at both EPCOT and Disney California Adventure. Soarin’ Across America will highlight America’s most iconic landmarks and cities from coast to coast when it debuts at both parks in Summer 2026.
Disney brought back Patrick Warburton, the iconic voice of Soarin’, to announce the update.
As always, Soarin’ Across America will have sights, music, and smells that bring the journey to life. More than a dozen locations will be featured in Soarin’ Across America. Disney says that Walt Disney Imagineering is already hard at work capturing footage of the locations.
Soarin’ Across America is described as a “limited-time” change to the Soarin’ attraction, but it’s unclear how long guests will have to see the new version. We think it’ll run for a significant amount of time considering the amount of work required to make a brand new film.
It’s great to see Disney updating this fun attraction with new content. Soarin’ has always been one of our favorite rides at both EPCOT and Disney California Adventure. We’re big fans of the OG Soarin’ Over California, but Soarin’ Around the World is a fun adventure too (especially once Disney fixed the wonky Eiffel Tower).
Look for an official debut date for Soarin’ Across America to be announced as we get closer to Summer 2026.
