Season passes are available for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Updated:

Have you ever wanted to attend multiple Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties but you couldn’t justify the price? Disney has a new solution for you in the form of a season pass that will allow you to attend up to 35 Halloween parties in 2019.

The new Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party season pass costs $299 and will get you into every party excluding the one on Halloween night. Disney stated that “limited quantities” of the pass are available, but it’s unclear how many they plan to sell.

What do you think of the addition of a season pass for the Magic Kingdom’s Halloween parties? The idea should be extremely appealing for local residents who want to regularly take in the special entertainment and go trick-or-treating until they can’t carry anymore candy, but one has to wonder how this will impact the overall crowd size.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is marketed as an event where guests can enjoy unique entertainment (parade & fireworks show), rare meet-and-greets and reduced crowds that should limit attraction wait times. The addition of the season pass should bring repeat visitors that could alter that reduced wait time selling point.

Previously, it was assumed that Disney had a hard cap on how many tickets they would sell to any special event like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. That cap feels like it has been growing larger and larger in recent years as crowds have increased, but now it may be difficult to predict how big crowds will be due to the potential for repeat visitors.

Overall this is a fun change for repeat visitors who want to dive into Halloween fun on a regular basis. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party offers lots to do (you may not even have time for any rides!) and almost requires repeat visits to experience everything. Don’t be surprised to see a similar pass offered for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
