Dates and big prices revealed for Boo Bash events at Magic Kingdom

Updated:

Disney has released new information on the Disney After Hours Boo Bash events at Magic Kingdom. The events will serve as a replacement for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and will include Halloween decorations, character cavalcades, reduced waits at attractions and more.

Similar to other After Hours events, guests at the Boo Bash will enter Magic Kingdom after the park has closed. The Boo Bash will run from 9pm to midnight on select dates from August 10, 2021 to October 31, 2021.

Prices

Unfortunately, prices for the 2021 Boo Bash nights are extremely high when compared to regular tickets and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Nights in August/September
$129 โ€“ $139 plus tax

Nights in October
$159-$169 plus tax

Halloween
$199 plus tax

Annual passholders and DVC members can receive a $10 discount on nights in August and September.

By comparison, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party cost up to $89 for nights in August 2020 and up to $109 for nights in September 2020. It’s worth noting that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party included more time in the park, a special fireworks show, stage shows and the beloved Boo-To-You Parade.

Disney’s new price point is a bit of an eye-opener given the reduced offerings. There’s value to be found with limited waits at 20+ Magic Kingdom attractions, but these prices are a significant increase. Guests should expect to see this type of aggressive pricing moving forward at Walt Disney World.

Tickets go on sale for guests staying at select Walt Disney World resorts on June 8, 2021.
