New details on the Incredibles experiences coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Updated:

Disney announced in September 2018 that the former location of Pixar Place was going to be transformed into the new home of the Incredibles. The area will become a Metroville city block where guests can celebrate all things Incredibles beginning on January 18, 2019.

Now, we have a bit more information on what the area will feature courtesy of Orlando Theme Park News.

Meet Edna Mode

Guests will be able to get an autograph and a photo with Edna Mode, the legendary Super Suit creator. While visiting, guests will also be able to see her original designs, awards, sketches and more.

Dance & Games Party

Join Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl and Frozone for a dance party to honor the Supers. Guests will enjoy dancing and games led by Bev, the Incredibly Nice Community Chair.

Find Jack-Jack

Jack-Jack is missing and has demonstrated his powers around the area. Guests can find and interact with the clues Jack-Jack has left behind. This component will reportedly include a hashtag that will encourage guests to share their experience with family and friends.

Themed Food, Drinks and Merchandise

The area will also introduce some new Incredibles-themed food, drinks and merchandise to Hollywood Studios. Municiberg Gifts will have new apparel and toys while the Neighborhood Bakery will offer items such as the Num Num Cookie, Hero Sandwich and Mrs. Incredibleโ€™s Mask with Cheese.

Overall Thoughts

Summarized, the area that was Pixar Place will be lightly themed to change it into the home of the Incredibles. Based on the aerial photo below, guests shouldn’t expect major changes as the area already had what could be described as a city block feel with some minor alterations.

At the very least, it will be nice to see this area used once again as it became a backstage area with the opening of Toy Story Land.
