New concept art for Alien Swirling Saucers at Toy Story Land

Updated:

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will soon be home to two new attractions inside Toy Story Land – Slinky Dog Dash andย Alien Swirling Saucers. Thanks to the Disney Parks Blog, we now have a better look at theย Alien Swirling Saucers attraction.

The post, which also mentions that Disney Hollywood Studios won’t be changing its name, says that guests will climb into toy rockets and hang on while the aliens tow them around with their spaceship. Some may even be chosen by the claw, though we’re not really sure what that means in regards to the ride.

The concept art above makes it look like the ride will be full of fun lighting and, if we had to guess, some up-tempo music.

Alien Swirling Saucers appears to be very similar toย Mater’s Junkyard Jamboreeย located at Disney’s California Adventure. That’s not necessarily a bad thing as many reviews have said that it’s a surprisingly fun attraction. It may not make headlines, but it should be an enjoyable ride for the whole family.
