It’s time to start planning for your visit to Toy Story Land now that we know the land will open on June 30th. The two new attractions, Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers, will bring a couple family-friendly rides to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

How do these height requirements compare to other rides at Disney World?
Slinky Dog Dash’s requirement of 38 inches matches up with the one required for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train over at the Magic Kingdom. Based on footage of Disney testing the coaster, it looks like it will be a fun, but relatively tame coaster ride around Andy’s backyard.
Meanwhile, the 32-inch requirement for Alien Swirling Saucers is the shortest requirement at Disney World (excluding attractions where there isn’t a requirement) and it matches the height required for the similar Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree ride at Disney’s California Adventure.
These requirements back up the family-friendly angle Disney has used to describe Toy Story Land. They’re important additions for Hollywood Studios and its current roster of attractions that may not appeal to all ages.
