Face Masks Now Optional at All Walt Disney World Locations and Transportation

Walt Disney World has updated their face mask policy. Masks are now optional for all guests in all indoor and outdoor locations, including transportation. This change is effective immediately.

Below is the official statement.

Disney still recommends that unvaccinated guests continue to mask while indoors, but they won’t be checking or verifying vaccination status.

Combined with the return of traditional character meet and greets this week, Walt Disney World is almost completely back to normal. Now we eagerly await the return of the absent entertainment, including Fantasmic!, Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, and more.
