Disney Cruise Line has been best cruise line for families and the best in the Caribbean in the U.S. News & World Report’s 2022 Best Cruise Lines Rankings. Disney picked up two awards while also receiving high marks for its ships in the general rankings.

In the families category, Disney Cruise Line received high marks for the variety of activities it offers for guests of all ages. U.S. News specifically recognized the kid-friendly dining, characters and adults-only nightlife and dining areas.

Disney Cruise Line was named the top option sailing in the Caribbean for a few key reasons. U.S. News cited the variety of ports – Barbados, Jamaica, St. Lucia and more – as well as Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay.
Overall, the Disney Fantasy was in a 6-way tie for the 8th-best ship out of 162 ships. The Disney Dream, Disney Magic and Disney Wonder finished in a 14-way tie for 14th.
