Disney Cruise Line Ending COVID-19 Testing for U.S. Vaccinated Guests

Updated:

Disney Cruise Line has updated their health and safety regulations for sailings from the United States. Vaccinated guests will no longer need to submit a negative COVID-19 test two days before embarkation starting September 23, 2022.

Here’s the change via Disney Cruise Line’s email.

Summarized, fully vaccinated guests will no longer need to complete any testing for voyages starting September 23, 2022 and beyond. Guests who are not fully vaccinated will still need to submit an approved negative PCR test one to three days before embarkation.

This change continues Disney Cruise Line’s gradual shift away from COVID-19 health and safety policies. Disney also recently announced that non-distanced character encounters will be returning to the ships. Mask use for cast members will also become optional, but a date for that change hasn’t been announced.
