We can see the progression of the area when taking a look back to June 2020. The aerial below depicts the outdoor seating area that was in place up until the Electric Umbrella’s final days of operation.

Details on what will occupy the former home of the Electric Umbrella haven’t been officially released by Disney. It’s believed a new quick service restaurant will take over the space and a permanent Starbucks location will move in. Currently, Starbucks is operating at a temporary kiosk after the old location was demolished when the first half of Innoventions West was flattened.
