Cinderella Castle to receive a “royal makeover” with new color updates

Updated:

Walt Disney World’s Cinderella Castle is about to receive a “royal makeover” beginning in the next few weeks. Disney has announced that the iconic castle will be updated with a slightly altered color scheme in honor of the 70th anniversary of Cinderella. The update to Cinderella Castle also fits perfectly with the upcoming 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World in 2021.

The makeover will feature a darker blue for the castle’s turrets and some additional golden colors.

Work is expected to begin on Cinderella Castle in the coming weeks and should be completed this summer. Disney has assured that the work will not interfere with Happily Ever After, the Magic Kingdom’s nighttime spectacular.

What do you think of the castle’s new look?
